Speed River Head Coach Dave Scott-Thomas has been named Guelph's Newsmaker of The Year by the Guelph Mercury.
Dave Scott-Thomas stumbled into the world of cross-country and track. Now, more than a decade later, he has crafted one of the country's most successful programs through the Speed River Track and Field Club and the U of G.

Speed River's Physiotherapist Brenda Scott-Thomas and Director of Communications Chris Moulton have both been selected to team Canada staff for the upcoming cross country season. Scott-Thomas will be the team physiotherapist at the North American, Central American and the Caribbean Cross Country Championships March 7th in Orlando, while Moulton will be the team manager at the World Cross Country Championships in Amman, Jordan March 28th. This is Scott-Thomas third National team assignment, while it is Moulton's first. |
